To fulfill the highest demands for bio-compatibility, all endoscopes and instruments are made of stainless steel, thus eliminating the need for additional coatings.

All Schölly endoscopes are optimized for the clinical everyday life and can be treated with all desinfectants and purifying agents. They are built for long lasting use, can either be soaked, used in STERRAD^©, STERRIS^©, ETO or can even be steam autoclaved (18 Minutes). The flexible instruments are completely soakable and designed for gas sterilization.

The integrated illumination fibres and a light concentrating  fibre-cone provide a bright and even illumination.

Various adapters are available to ensure compatibility with all light guide makes.
